LOL. Okay, I got it from the band H.I.M. (I think they're called H.E.R. over here in the states b/c of another band...but everywhere else known as H.I.M.) If any of you are into the whole Camp Kill Yourself (CKY) stuff...like Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, all that jackass-y type stuff...you probably know of the band H.I.M. too. That's a lyric from their song "Sigillum Diaboli"...and yes I guess it's saying you know you must be alive if you die...something like that...as far as oil...I was using Castrol GTX 10W-30 when the whole sound began, and the mechanic said that was TOO thin...suggested a thicker oil...so I moved to 10W-40 since it's winter time. The first time it was Castrol SynTec, but this past time I used GTX again. Sadly enough...today when I went to crank my car after work...the VTC rattle/knock sounded really loud...almost like a rod knocking. I figured it was too rythmic to be a rod. Knocking rods usually have more of a "knocking around" sound. Plus, the sound (as before with the VTC noise) was the most distinct and audible at the top of the engine right over the intake cam sprocket. Either way, it's going back to the shop hopefully tomorrow...no more driving it...I'm just ready to have my car done with and not have to worry about "is this messed up?" "What's that sound?" "Should it be doing that?" I'm sure a lot of ya know how I feel...
